Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add the diced celery and carrots to the skillet, cooking until they are slightly tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  5. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
