Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground turkey. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, mixing well. If desired, add red pepper flakes for heat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
