Ingredients:

  • 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 8 slices of deli ham
  • 8 slices of cheese (Swiss or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls on a clean surface and separate them into triangles.
  3. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle, then sprinkle with chopped parsley and chives.
  5. Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point to form a crescent shape, sealing the edges.
  6. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the egg wash over each crescent for a golden finish.
  8. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
