Ingredients:

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Buds
  • 2 tablespoons dehydrated onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup sweet onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onions, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add sliced carrots and cook for about 5-7 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the Butter Buds. Add the diced sweet and red onions, and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the dehydrated onions, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cinnamon, paprika, basil, thyme, cilantro, oregano, cumin, ground mustard, and marjoram. Cook for an additional minute to toast the spices.
  4. Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the herb mixture. Cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve warm as a side dish.
