Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Mix maple syrup and barbecue sauce in a small bowl, then brush generously over each meatball.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the meatballs are cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
