Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground hamburger, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the plain yogurt, lemon juice, and fresh dill in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
