Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can ranch-style beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup canned pasta sauce
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 cup baby tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced red onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the fresh green beans and cook for another 5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the canned pasta sauce and add the ranch-style beans. Stir to combine and let simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. Gently fold in the halved baby tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
