Ingredients:

  • 8 oz beef jerky, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, and cracked black pepper. Stir until the brown sugar is dissolved.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the sliced jerky to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the top. Stir well to coat the jerky and vegetables in the sauce.
  5. Continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.
  7. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
