Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter buds
  • 1/2 cup dehydrated onions
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter buds over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced sweet and red onions and sauté until they become translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the dehydrated onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and all the spices (cinnamon, paprika, basil, thyme, cilantro, oregano, cumin, mustard, marjoram). Mix well to combine.
  4. Add the fresh green beans to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the onion and spice mixture.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the green beans are tender but still crisp.
  6. Season with black pepper to taste before serving.
