Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, diced strawberries, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat mixture.
  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and balsamic vinegar.
  6. Pour half of the sauce over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Meanwhile, for the meatloaf, transfer the remaining meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  8. Spread the remaining sauce on top of the meatloaf and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  9. Let both the meatballs and meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
