Ingredients:

  • 1 lb turkey mince
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the turkey mince, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of puff pastry and cut it into squares or circles, depending on your desired shape.
  6. Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture in the center of each pastry piece. Fold the pastry over to seal, crimping the edges with a fork.
  7. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
