Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.

  5. While the mixture simmers, toast the brioche buns until golden brown.
