Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for gravy)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
