Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the chicken pieces, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
