Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pot, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the green and red bell peppers, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the elbow macaroni and cover the pot. Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in half of the cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Serve hot, topped with the remaining cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
