Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer, cubed
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle in the coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add the cubed paneer and gently fold it into the tomato mixture. Cook for 5 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.
  7. Finish with garam masala and stir gently. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
