Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add the cubed paneer to the pan and sauté until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt over the paneer, mixing well to coat evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix the plain yogurt with lemon juice, black pepper, and salt to taste.
  5. To serve, place the spiced paneer on top of the yogurt mixture.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander, mint, diced cucumber, and tomatoes.
