Ingredients:

  • 4 soft bread buns
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 4 oz Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Kewpie mayo
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the Kewpie mayo and sriracha sauce until well combined. Set aside.
  3. Slice the bread buns in half and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the cut sides of the buns and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Layer the mozzarella slices evenly on the bottom halves of the buns, followed by the grated Parmesan.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and spread the sriracha mayo mixture over the melted cheese.
  8. Top with fresh basil leaves if desired, then place the top halves of the buns on.
  9. Serve warm, cut in half for easy eating.
