Spicy Mozzarella Sliders with Kewpie Mayo

Ingredients:

  • 4 bread buns
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Kewpie mayo
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread buns in half and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the Kewpie mayo with the sriracha sauce to create a spicy mayo.
  4. Spread a layer of the spicy mayo on the inside of each bun.
  5. Layer the mozzarella cheese slices on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the top half of the buns over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy your spicy mozzarella sliders!
