Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Warm water, as needed for kneading
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for brushing)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix well.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and gradually pour in warm water while mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
  6. Place the dough balls on a greased baking tray, leaving space between them. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. If desired, brush with melted butter immediately after removing from the oven.
