Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.
  6. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
