Ingredients:

  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples and bananas with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, melted butter, chopped nuts (if using), and a pinch of salt. Mix until crumbly.
