Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Form into four equal patties.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  3. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the spicy cilantro lime mayo by combining mayonnaise, lime juice, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Mix well.
  5. Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers: spread a generous amount of cilantro lime mayo on the bottom half of each bun, add lettuce, then the cooked patty, followed by avocado slices, tomato, and red onion.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
