Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust for sweetness)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and basil sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the mixed berries, basil leaves, and honey/agave syrup. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the berry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey/agave syrup.
  5. Serve over ice cubes in glasses, garnished with lemon slices and basil sprigs.
