Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef ribeye, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup pineapple, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Grill the pineapple slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side until caramelized. Remove from the grill and set aside.
  5. Heat a skillet over high heat and add the marinated beef. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. In a separate pot, mix the cooked rice with sesame seeds and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
  7. To serve, place a scoop of sesame rice on each plate, top with the bulgogi, and add grilled pineapple slices. Garnish with chopped green onions.
