Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. In a saucepan, heat milk and melted butter until warm (about 110°F). Add to the dry ingredients along with eggs. Mix until combined.
  2. Gradually add remaining flour, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  3. Once risen, roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches). Spread a layer of caramel sauce over the dough.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon, brown sugar, and instant coffee granules. Sprinkle evenly over the caramel layer.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from the long side, then slice into 12 equal rolls. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
