Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons senpar wine
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup fireberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Stir in the egg and senpar wine until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  5. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate chips with the milk, stirring until smooth.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the fireberries and granulated sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes to macerate.
  7. Once the crust has cooled, pour the melted chocolate mixture into the tart shell.
  8. Top with the macerated fireberries, spreading them evenly across the chocolate filling.
  9. Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours to set before serving.
  10. Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or additional fireberries if desired.
