Ingredients:

  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered cocoa
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the quick oats, melted butter, powdered cocoa, sweetened condensed milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish, pressing it down firmly with the back of a spatula.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly firm.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the bars cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
