Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup mini M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the mini M&Ms and mini chocolate chips with a spatula.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
