Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts, espresso powder, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
