Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup toasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Add the egg yolk and cold water, mixing until a dough forms. Press the dough into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly.
  4. Prick the bottom of the tart shell with a fork and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Stir in the hazelnut spread and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  7. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled tart shell and spread evenly.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  9. Before serving, top with chopped toasted hazelnuts and a sprinkle of sea salt.
