Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • Pastel food coloring (pink, blue, yellow, green)
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then shape into egg-shaped forms and place on a lined baking sheet. Let them set for about 30 minutes.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  5. Divide the melted chocolate into four bowls and add a few drops of different pastel food coloring to each bowl. Stir until the colors are evenly mixed.
  6. Dip each Rice Krispie egg into the pastel chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off. Place back on the baking sheet.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with colorful sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  8. Let the chocolate coating harden at room temperature for about 1 hour, or refrigerate for quicker setting.
