Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 1/2 cup minced shrimp
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Chili sauce for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground pork and cook until browned. Stir in minced shrimp and cook until opaque.
  3. Pour in the beaten eggs, stirring gently until just set. Remove from heat and fold in chopped green onions, soy sauce, and mix well.
  4. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about a teaspoon of the meat and egg mixture into the center.
  5. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with chili sauce for dipping if desired.
