Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mixed dried fruits (such as cranberries, apricots, and raisins)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or almonds)
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, mixed dried fruits, chopped nuts, and coconut flakes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the honey or maple syrup, almond or peanut butter, applesauce, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
