Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, ketchup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is nicely charred.
  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
