  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, plus more for rolling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup green food coloring

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, almond extract, and green food coloring to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
