Ingredients:

  • 12 slices Hawaiian bread
  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 8 oz Colby Jack cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian bread in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.
  4. Place the bottom half of the bread on a baking sheet.
  5. Layer the sliced ham evenly on the bottom layer of the bread.
  6. Add a layer of Colby Jack cheese on top of the ham.
  7. Sprinkle the bacon bits evenly over the cheese.
  8. Place the top half of the Hawaiian bread over the fillings.
  9. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the bread.
  10. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
