  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, sage, orange zest, lemon zest, and minced garlic to create a herb paste.
  3. Rub the herb paste all over the turkey pieces, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the orange juice, lemon juice, chicken broth, and honey to make the citrus glaze.
  5. Place the turkey pieces in a roasting pan and pour the citrus glaze over them.
  6. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue roasting for an additional 30-45 minutes, basting occasionally with the pan juices, until the turkey is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  8. Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
