Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups pastel M&M candies

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the pastel M&M candies gently with a spatula.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
