Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss to coat the peaches evenly. Spread the peach mixture in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, remaining sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the Bisquick batter evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the biscuit topping comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
