Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 36 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the crushed pretzels.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Let cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
  8. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
