Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth but still slightly chunky.
  3. Add the finely chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro to the mashed avocado.
  4. Fold in the pomegranate seeds gently to avoid breaking them.
  5. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
