Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and salted caramel protein powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), applesauce, sea salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it firmly into an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle the top with additional sea salt for a balanced flavor.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
