Ingredients:

  • 400g crevettes (shrimp), peeled and deveined
  • 150g bacon, diced
  • 250g mushrooms, sliced (preferably cremini or button)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of half a lemon

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  6. Add the crevettes to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Return the crispy bacon to the skillet and mix well.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
