Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Tomato slices, for serving
  • Cheese slices (optional), for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, parsley, basil, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.
  3. Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding cheese slices in the last minute if desired.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked patty. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
