Ingredients:

  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and crumbled
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup water (adjust as needed)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled tofu, chickpea flour, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  2. Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until you achieve a thick batter consistency.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the batter into the hot oil, flattening them slightly to form fritters.
  5. Fry each fritter for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
