  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until well combined. Add the milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and let cool.
