Ingredients:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup lard
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup water (optional for icing)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, crushed vanilla wafers, and melted lard until well mixed.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish to form a crust layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and half of the chocolate chips until smooth.
  5. Pour the condensed milk mixture over the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and the remaining chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
  8. Allow it to cool completely before preparing the icing.
  9. For the icing, mix icing sugar with a little water until desired consistency is reached.
  10. Drizzle the icing over the cooled dessert before cutting into squares.
