This classic Bacon Cheeseburger is a delicious homage to Sonic Drive-In's beloved menu item. Featuring a juicy beef patty topped with crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, pickles, and a dollop of creamy mayonnaise, all nestled between a soft toasted bun. This recipe captures the essence of a traditional American burger, perfect for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

• 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
• 4 slices of bacon
• 4 slices of cheddar cheese
• 4 hamburger buns
• 1 cup shredded lettuce
• 1 medium tomato, sliced
• 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Form the ground beef into four equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
