Ingredients:

  • 125 gm soya chunks
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 green chilies, slit
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Soak the soya chunks in hot water for about 15 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
  2. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the slit green chilies.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they break down and become saucy.
  4. Stir in turmeric powder and salt, mixing well.
  5. Add the soaked soya chunks to the pan and sauté for a few minutes to combine with the tomato mixture.
  6. Pour in the milk and bring to a gentle simmer, allowing the flavors to meld together for about 10 minutes.
  7. Finish with garam masala and stir well. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
